Principal Broker Joedy Gilliland is a 23-year retired law enforcement professional. Raised in Boyle County, Joedy went into the Army after high school. After serving his country he followed his parent's footsteps and became a police officer. He started off in Lebanon and then went to Danville. In 2005 he landed at the Nelson County Sheriff's Office where he retired in 2021.
Joedy served many roles while in law enforcement such as patrol, school resource officer, detective, and finally as Chief Deputy. Each of these roles got him involved with the community differently. After retirement, Joedy took the Chief of Bloomfield Police Dept. Position. Unfortunately, the position opened due to the unexpected passing of Chief Scott Dennis.
Joedy has always enjoyed serving and helping people in the community. When he was in the house-buying process, he felt he could continue to help citizens by being a trustworthy Real Estate Professional. He got his license in 2017 and had many successful transactions, leading to his broker's license in 2021.
